A pair of decorative black lacquer vases from the Flying Horse Company, Fuzhou, dating to the 1950s. These vases are crafted from lacquered papier-mâché and hand-painted with classic Chinese scenes, featuring a house set against a mountain backdrop. Both retain their original maker’s sticker on the base. In very good vintage condition with only minimal signs of light use. Each vase measures approximately 11 inches in height and 4.5 inches in diameter.
