This is a charming set of vintage Walt Disney World souvenirs from the early 1970s, likely among the first sold after the park's grand opening on October 1, 1971. The set includes a beautifully designed ruffled glass dish and a Mickey Mouse bottle opener—both in excellent vintage condition.
The dish is made from smoky grey glass with a scalloped, ruffled edge. Each panel features a unique depiction of early Walt Disney World attractions, including:
- The Liberty Belle Riverboat
- It’s a Small World
- Liberty Square
- The Jungle Cruise
- Main Street U.S.A.
- The Monorail.
At the center of the dish is an image of Cinderella’s Castle, adding a perfect focal point to this nostalgic piece. The dish measures approximately 2 inches high by 7.5 inches in diameter.
Also included is a gold-toned metal bottle opener featuring a cheerful graphic of Mickey Mouse. Measuring about 4.5 x 1.5 x 0.5 inches, it adds a touch of fun and functionality to the set.
These well-preserved items are a wonderful snapshot of Walt Disney World's early days and make a great addition to any Disneyana collection. Please refer to the photos for more details and condition.
