This vintage Shafford porcelain planter features a stunning depiction of the Blessed Madonna in prayer. With her head bowed and hands clasped in devotion, she is adorned in a white robe and crown, both highlighted with elegant gold accents. The base of the planter is a rich dark blue, accented with gold scroll designs. The planter itself is located at the back of the piece and has a square shape. It is in good vintage condition without chips or cracks, but does have some crazing which is consistent with age.
The piece measures approximately 5.5" H x 4" W x 4" D. Made in Japan, this exquisite planter is a beautiful blend of grace and function.
